Conference of Drama Evangelism
Who May Attend C.O.D.E?
We certainly don't want to leave anyone out of the exciting drama ministry and atmosphere at CODE, but we desire that anyone under the age of 16 be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
We highly encourage drama development. If you have scripts, DVDs, videos or other drama related resources, please let us know. There isn't a charge for this, yet. You can contact Howi Tiller or Terry Vik.

Who Can Perform at CODE?

Again, we don't want anyone to be left out of CODE, however, childcare and nursery is subject to the hosting church or organization. Sometimes the location for the CODE isn't at a church where there might be a child-care facility. CODE Directors do not supply day-care. If you have any questions, please email us.
One of our goals is to give regional drama ministries an opportunity to perform on Thursday evening. This is by invitation. However, if you feel that your drama team has a dramatic piece ready, please feel free to send a copy of the dramatic piece on video or DVD to Howi Tiller or Terry Vik for review. For more information please contact Howi Tiller or Terry Vik by email.
We invite you to submit any original short sketch to be critiqued by one of our 3 experienced dramatic writers. To be considered for the personal evaluation please format your script in dialogue form. The sketch should not be longer than five to seven minutes or about three pages. The submission date is one month before the CODE that you plan to attend. You will receive a hand written critique when you attend the Playwriting Class at the conference. The staff will pick one or two of the sketches to be performed as a read-through during our finale on Saturday morning. One writer will receive a free registration to next years CODE. Please send any submissions to howitiller@aol.com or by snailmail to Howi Tiller at 208 Galvin Rd N., Bellevue, NE 68005
Each CODE differs in classes offered as local teachers with special abilities are incorporated into the teaching team. By going to the page of the location(s) that you are interested in attending you will get a better feel for the specific classes offered at that location that year.
